Curriculum and Materials

NFLC's Curriculum and Materials Development team manages the network of expert consultants who develop language learning and assessment materials under the LangNet project. The team ensures that content is of the highest possible quality consistent with time and cost constraints. Many members of the team speak two or more languages fluently, but their primary tasks involve facilitating people and processes.

Our team of experts specializes in:

• Recruitment and qualification of contractors in key languages
• Coordinating training with SLA and Instructional Design
• Acquisition of use permissions for authentic content
• Administering content management through LangNet's Learning Object Authoring Tool (LOAT)
• Coaching contractors in its use
• Quality assurance procedures
