Quality Assurance

Quality assurance (QA) is the process of verifying or determining whether products or services adhere to established specifications, and ultimately meet or exceed customer expectations. As a process-driven approach with specific steps to help define and attain goals, QA considers design, content development, production, testing, and service. The NFLC's QA team conducts style and substantive reviews of instructional content and language learning materials to ensure that they meet all design and pedagogical standards. In addition, it tests all products to ensure that they meet or exceed usability standards and functional requirements. The QA team consists of language pedagogues, technical writers and editors, systems analysts, and software testers.
