Developed for the US Department of Defense, Critical Thinking Structured Analysis is a collection of 17 self-paced lessons that offers a practical model for critical thinking and problem solving based on the work of Drs. Richard Paul and Linda Elder of the Foundation for Critical Thinking. It also allows for the critical exploration of structured analytic techniques used in intelligence. Each lesson includes activities and exercises to check for comprehension of key concepts and provide opportunities for basic skill application.
To create Critical Thinking Structured Analysis, the NFLC converted content from an existing platform-delivered course into rich-media standalone learning objects (lessons) that allow a globally dispersed work force just-in-time access through a state-of-the-art learning management system.
